
Out at Sea
We’ve been inspired by all things oceanic, as our learning theme this month is ‘Out at Sea’. 123s created some cute crustaceans with homemade play-dough & explored textures of flour, glitter, water & tissue paper in a marvellous marine-themed messy tray! 123s also practised pouring with a jug, as well as mark making with different tools, all whilst singing songs about fish of course! The Troll & the Treasure Hunt!
After reading one of our favourite stories, The Troll (which contains pirates), we decided to go on a treasure hunt to try and beat the pirates to their buried treasure! We stuck sequins & glitter on circles of silver card to make shiny doubloons encrusted with precious gems. We also practised our pencil control when making our treasure maps. Celebrating Bournemouth Air Festival
To celebrate the Bournemouth Air Festival, we made some magnificent models of our favourite aeroplanes featured in the air show. We took our models over to our friends at Avon Cliff Care Home, who were delighted & hung them up with the rest of their decorations. We all sat & watched the amazing air show together, which was awesome! Thank you for a wonderful day Avon Cliff Care Home!
