Time for Harvest!
This week we have been exploring the topic ‘Harvest Vegetables’. The 123 group have had a great time visiting our role play veg shop, we looked at all the different vegetables you can buy & discussed the differences some were big, some small, the different colours & then used our counting skills to pay for them! We then went on to wash our vegetables at our ‘harvest station’ & we even used straws to create bubbles!

At the autumn station
Inspired by their love of trains & our theme of autumn, this morning the under 2s enjoyed exploring an autumnal train sensory tray. We filled our tray with lentils for gravel, sticks that we collected & some flour for earth. We loved singing 'the wheels on the train' and joining in with the actions as well as counting how many trains and trees we had.

Look Who Came to Visit…
Yesterday, Preschool were lucky enough to have a visit from Bournemouth Police! They kindly showed us around their Police car, which we learned can go really fast! They showed us their special sirens, which they use to warn people when they’re in a hurry & they even gifted us our very own Police hats! We talked about what the police do & how they are here to keep us safe. Thank you so much for visiting, we loved meeting you & haven’t stopped talking about it since!

All About Autumn
This week, 123s enjoyed an autumnal nature walk around our local area! We looked at the changing leaves & talked about all the beautiful colours we could see. Whilst on our walk, we recognised the different numbers on people’s houses & gates & tried to count as high as we could! We also collected conkers, sticks & leaves for our sensory tray, which we then played with together & explored the many different textures of what we’d found.
