Snowy Scenes
Talbot Woods’ Under 2s had some festive fun playing with a winter wonderland-themed sensory tray. We loved exploring the textures of flour, cotton wool & sparkly baubles, all whilst singing along to our Christmas tunes! We practiced mark making with our cars, trains & other small-world toys & even added some animal toys into the mix, helping them to trudge through the ‘snow’.


Christmas Wonderland
It was Preschool & 123s turn to visit Bournemouth gardens to see the Christmas lights. We admired all of the beautiful decorations & discussed the colours & shapes we saw. There was a triangular tree, a circular bauble & a magical wonderland fountain display. We looked at the polar bears and reindeers & discussed where they might come from and the type of climate they live in. Those Christmas Lights
Lansdowne Under 2s were in for a huge treat when Betty & Yazmin took them to Bournemouth Gardens to see the beautiful Christmas lights. We saw a polar bear, lots of Christmas trees & even a huge statue of the man himself, Father Christmas! It truly is the most wonderful time of the year!


Saving the Planet One ‘Ray Cycle-ing’ Bin at a Time!
Pre-School have been learning about the importance of recycling. We discussed the different bins we have at home & at nursery & what materials go in each of them. We looked at the recycling logo & the shapes & colours it’s usually made up of. When asked why we recycle, one of our friends said; "to save the planet" so then we talked about what could happen if we don’t recycle.
