Jack Frost was in the garden...
…dancing round the bushes and helping with our learning through play curriculum. We made lots of great models, drawings & displays whilst discussing golden rules, extending our vocabulary, encouraging movement & counting. We learnt about frost, ice & water, textures & colours. Although these activities were spontaneous, they were all linked to our Home Learning Programme & our seasonal & world region themes.

Food makes the world go around!
Every month we travel around the world using food, culture, animals & landscapes as inspiration for our learning. This month we were in the UK & chose Burn's Night to introduce the children to the “Great chieftain o' the puddin'-race" aka haggis! Otherwise we have an exciting 3-week rotating menu including roast ham with Yorkshire puddings, salads & oily fish. For more information & our recipes please feel free to get in touch.
