Introduction

Lansdowne Road & Talbot Woods

We are delighted to offer new placements at our Lansdowne Road & Wimborne Road nurseries for children of all ages from 3 months to 5 years, including children who are waiting to start reception class.

Lansdowne Road & Talbot Woods

Your first step is to arrange a viewing with your child at either or both nurseries. We'll show you around and give you a feel for each setting. Your child will also have a chance to play and join in with other children if they wish. Your tour will include details about how we work and gives you a great opportunity to ask questions.

Application

Lansdowne Road & Talbot Woods

Once you have decided on which nursery will suit your child best we have a fast track application, which is ideal for most parents. Once complete and your place is confirmed, we will ask for a registration fee (if applicable) and deposit. Any fees and your start date are agreed.

Settling-in

Lansdowne Road & Talbot Woods

Once you have your starting date, we will arrange a series of settling-in sessions. There's no fixed pattern - simply what's best for your child. You may want to stay with your child in the early stages until your and your child's confidence builds. When your child is ready to start, you will have an assigned key worker, access to our online system (this is optional), and a devoted team of professionals ready to help you & your child through their early years.

Assessment

Lansdowne Road & Talbot Woods

Part of our work involves continual assessment of your child's welfare and development. If at any point from the first viewing we recognise any concerns, we may ask for further information and discussion with you. Our policy is to address issues at the earliest point as this will always be in your child's best interest.
