A Frosty trail & Winter Collage

This week pre-school have been exploring all about winter weather & story The Gruffalo’s child. Yesterday, we all began by discussing what clothes we need to wear outdoors during the winter & how to keep ourselves warm, we then looked at all our hats & coats & how they are all different.

We then went outdoors wrapped up in our winter coats, hats and gloves ready to go on a hunt through the ‘deep dark woods’ to look for different materials for our collage. We all enjoyed finding different sized sticks & leaves, and then explored the colours & texture of them! Some were still frozen! We put them into our basket ready for our collage activity!
