Babies had a 'roar-some' time making dinosaur footprints in dough & exploring the size & texture of different leaves.

Our Favourite Foods
123s have been learning all about our food & where it comes from. We talked about our favourite foods & why it’s important to have a balanced diet. We discussed all the yummy fruits we like to have as a snack & all their different shapes, sizes & colours. Later, we walked to our local shops to see how our food is prepared & stored before we buy it & eat it. Bournemouth (Day Nursery) in Bloom Continued…
We were so excited to go down to Bournemouth Town Hall to collect our certificate & plaque for entering the Bournemouth in Bloom Schools’ Competition. We were honoured to meet the Mayor, take a tour of his chambers & even sit in his big chair! A huge thank you to our wonderful Ronnie for all of your hard work in organising our entry & for teaching us all about flowers & nature! Make sure to look out for our photos in the Bournemouth Echo.

Sunny Strolls
Yesterday, a group of us headed to Meyrick Park to enjoy the sunshine! On the way, we talked about the importance of road safety. We made sure to look both ways when crossing the road & to always use our listening ears when we're out & about. When we got to Meyrick Park, we explored the woods & found a beautiful Ladybird. Then, we played football & had running races, running as fast as we could across the park! It was so much fun!

Talbot Woods' Jubilee Garden Party
Thank you to everyone who came & celebrated the Queen's Platinum Jubilee with us. We apologise for not being able to do the crown parade, but too much fun was being had doing the other activities!
