Space Adventure

Inspired by our current learning theme of transport, Under 2s have been focussing on air transport. We talked about what you might see in the sky such as aeroplanes, clouds, the sun, the moon, stars & even rockets! We then read some of our favourite space-themed books & built our very own model rockets out of coloured card & tin foil. We also role-played travelling with our friends to outer space in a rocket ship, pointing out stars & planets on the way & of course, singing ‘Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star’!
