Spring has Sprung…(in spite of the weather!)

Inspired by the (supposed) season, Preschool have been learning all about flowers. We started off with a marvellously muddy messy tray, which contained some artificial flowers we could take apart to study more closely. We looked at all the different parts of the flowers & worked as a team to put them back together & ‘plant' them, all whilst discussing what plants need to grow. Then, we went into the garden to collect an array of foliage. We found petals, stems, leaves & sticks, which we used to create our own deconstructed flower pictures!
