Bake-Off PICLE

Lansdowne PreSchool held another successful parents' event (Parents Involved in Children's Learning & Education) last week. Andy led the currant bun making session & the children also made a selection of cakes & a mixed-up pasta play dish.

Names from the meld helped start phonic sounds & some children began to copy & write the beginning of their names.

Later the cakes were put on display in the pop-up cake shop & Mums & Dads became the customers as our "shopkeepers" counted out the goodies & worked out the price!
